I'm Home
I'm brushing the Egyptian dust off the sleeves of my abaya. I got home Sunday evening and worked yesterday. I crashed after work. InshaAllah I will write more soon. I just have to get back to normal first. It was a great trip in so many ways. Thanks for the well wishes. I hope to tell some stories soon.

that is amazing...before i clicked on your blog i was counting on my fingers to try to figure out if you had made it home or not. sis, rest and think over all of your days. the first time i went to egypt and returned i sank into a deep depression. i didnt want to be in the states. i didnt want this life anymore. nothing here seemed important. i actually checked into a hotel when i returned from the airport and didnt even tell anyone that i was back.
ive heard a few ppl say that they have sunk into this egypt withdrawal depression.
so take it easy on yourself and remember that youll go back.
on the other side, i cant wait to hear all about it.
